Maryn is currently an independent postdoctoral fellow at the NSF-Simons National Institute for Theory & Mathematics. She completed her PhD at the University of Chicago in Genetics, Genomics, and Systems Biology. Before this, she studied plant pathology and plant breeding at Cornell University.
I am currently recruiting PhD students through the Biology graduate program this Fall. I am also hiring postdocs (starting January 2027 onward) and undergraduate researchers (starting this academic year). Please reach out if you are interested!
