The Carlson Lab works at the interface of population and quantitative genetics, statistics, and evolutionary biology. A major focus of the lab's current work is developing theory and methods for interpreting high-throughput mutagenesis studies, particularly in the context of within and across species variation. Work in the lab combines theory, methods development, and data analysis.
